Kimberly is a skilled and dedicated camera operator, digital imaging technician, and documentary photographer, proudly affiliated with IATSE Local 600 and the Society of Camera Operators. With a background in biology and veterinary medicine, she is dedicated to projects that advocate for wildlife conservation, uplift women, and bring compelling global stories to light.

Drawing inspiration from her esteemed relative, Sverre M. Fjelstad — the renowned Norwegian zoologist, cinematographer, and host of the acclaimed series Naturmagasinet, which aired on the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation from 1966 to 1974 — Kimberly shares his passion for storytelling through film. Like Fjelstad, she blends cinematography with a deep respect for the natural world, capturing its beauty and complexity with both passion and artistry.

Kimberly's pride and joy is her son, Hammywho also happens to be a cat.

When she's not behind the camera, you'll likely find her enjoying long romantic walks to the taco truck, wandering through the jungle, or fully embracing her inner couch potato.
